Use the Pointmaker PVI-40 video marker in your next presentation to easily draw and point on a video image. Connected between a composite video source and monitor, the PVI-40 can be used to enhance a video presentation by helping you drive home your point or otherwise draw attention to important aspects of an image.
Drawing and pointing is accomplished with a digitizing tablet (PVI-40D). With an optional light pen, you can draw and point directly on the monitor or preview monitor. The PVI-40 may also be used with certain touch screens.
The PVI-40 can be used in board rooms, classrooms, courtrooms, sports training facilities, broadcast studios for weather, sports and traffic reports; medical or quality control labs, and videoconference centers.
Features
DRAW with the PVI-40 to circle important features of a video image. Underscore for emphasis, or write important data on the image.
POINT by positioning a single arrow or other pointer such as cross hairs and dots anywhere over the video image, or by placing several arrows or other pointers alongside each point as the point is discussed.
COMBINE pointers and drawn lines to annotate an image during a detailed discussion.
COMPATIBLE with composite NTSC or RGB with sync on green sources and displays. Optional YCX-10 cable allows use with Y/C video equipment.
CHANGE THE SHADE of the pointers and drawing lines for optimum contrast with the video image. Three (3) different shades of pointers and lines can be displayed at once. These 3 shades are pre-selected by users from a palette containing black, white and 5 shades of gray. For displays and sources using RGB with sync on green, the markers appear in shades of pink to green.
ERASE lines and arrows, either all at once or one at a time, beginning with the most recently placed arrow or drawn line.
A SOLID BACKGROUND covers the video image when an "electronic chalkboard" is desired.
